Back from Bintan!

It was a realllly short trip - 3D2N
But it took my breath away ~
the sea.. the beach.. beautiful sunset
what the most wonderful place for relaxation
especially after sucha bz and hectic work week
(haha summer you should go cus u need de-stress!!)

this was my 1st time to bintan..
in my 25 years HAHA!
only 1 hr journey by ferry eh..
i will go back more often but not in nov!
cus its monsoon season :(
and becos of that
we din get to try snorkelling...
and cus it rained one of the afternoons..
go-kart was cancelled too cos of the bad bad weather
they say it's dangerous.. esp at night so....
ended only tried jetski and ATV (All Terrain Vehicle)

i never tried jetski before
though i always seen ppl on jetski in movies
and the last show that i watched which shows the lady on jetski..
"My Girlfriend Is an Agent" ... lol
anyway i din get to ride keke
cos i abit scared..
so bee rode.. i just sat behind
he keep telling me "very easy one.. no need scared one"
BUT I SCAREDDDD!!!
especially when it was so far out in the sea..
just reminds me of tragic movies where people drowned..
like poseidon? or titantic???
im not being drama.. but im really scared
EVEN when i was sitting at the back..
nevertheless.. it was a great experience!

after jetski we went straight for ATV
also my first time!!
(walaus i know i sound like super suaku)
this is fun!!
its where you get dirty all over and 'chiong sua'
this time im the driver!
but halfway thru, i got bee to drive
wise decision cos it rain heavily after we swapped positions
and the rain kinda hurt my eyes
then we drove past this puddle of mud and like
SPLASH! all cvered with dirty mud!
but it was cool!
we wanted to play for an hour
but due to bad weather n heavy rain
we had to go back :(
and that heavy rain was also the reason why go-kart was cancelled..

oh yes! and one more thing.
i really got a very huge surprise :)

so we had to leave around 9+

Yays!! I finally went to Singapore Expo for Kitty Lab :D
Actually it wasn't realy very fantastic
BUT its a very good experience
I enjoyed myself of cos :)

This is what Kitty Lab is about....
First you get a map of where the various stations are
my mission is to complete all stages
and if I do that within 35 minutes
i will be awarded the "good citizen" award too
hehe
there will be games to play in each stage
if you win - u get to customise your own kitty
be it the ribbon, clothes, shoes, height or accessories
if you lose - the computer will choose for you
at the end of everything
you will get a kitty ID card
of your personalised kitty!

i know its been long long time (like 4mths?) since i last blog.
actually i tried to log in my account previously
but seems like there is some "virus-thingy" i duno whats that
telling me my blog has been DELETED cos i may have violate some rights n stuff
simply annoying!!!
and whats worst i got the very famous msn virus too
those that pops up the window and says" hey check out how much weight i have lost ...."
so irritating..
i even tried uninstalling msn n reinstall but the same problem again
thanks to 1 colleague (ex-colleague) of mine who prompt me to change my password
and heh heh - it works.
i duno wat's wrong with windows nowadays...
and i was prompted this same shit when i tried to log in to blogger
so i change my password
and alas brought me here for me to shout 'em out ...

my school has ended..
n i definitely miss my classmates :(
im supposed to enrol in dec intake
but i had a change of mind
cos of my new job - at cathay cineplex

yep. i just came back from bangkok for about a week or so.
haha it was a very last minute decision
BUT i had wanted to go since march..
becus of h1n1... protesters..
i had been pushing the trip back and back..
and since we have national day on sun
so i have mon as ph - just go ahead!

i miss the massage.. i went for foot massage everyday!!!
i miss traditional tom yam goong (still yet to find a REAL good one..)
i miss sharks fins (NO! summer if u see this DUN SCREAM at me O.O''')
i miss BARGAINING but am really not good at it
i miss SPENDING and i always do so HAPPILY
i miss CABBING ... it's just so cheap!
i miss SINGHA in the bathtub with my ciggie as well

UH-OH... yar yar.. i know this has been 2 months since i last touched.

just finished my exams....
it's a relief though
and how amazing i find it was for me to use that few hours to study
haha. so many temptations at home..
tv's distracting me, ds's calling me
internet surfing waiting for me.

with my amazing-memory skills..
and thanks to lecturers' tips

only thing is whether can get all As or not...

THEY met and fell in love on the set of the drama series Power Of Love in 2004.
and NOW they are getting married. They have been together for 5 years.

on the wedding itself, Shaun drives a vintage beetle to fetch Michelle. he was blocked and teased terribly by the sisters in the house. they made him wear the shower cap, suck pacifiers and put on baby bonnets, bibs and diapers and that Shaun has to put on complete lipstick. the most disgusting part is one of Shaun's brother has to put the banana in his mouth while the other has to peel off the skin using mouth also! haha the scene is damn R-A lahs! well, eventually he handed $888 to enter the house, and to get in Michelle's room, he has to shout and say "I love you" in 10 different languages!

They are holding the wedding dinner on 11 May 09 at The Ritz Carlton's The Grand Ballroom and The Grand Gallery. about 700-1000 guests were invited, of cos many were mediacorp actors/ actresses. the dinner only had 5 dishes - excluding SHARKS FIN - because Michelle loves the sea animals and dun encourage killing sharks for sharks fin. and there's a 12-course dessert buffet at the end of it..

1st course: Freshly Cut Kiwi Fruit with Autumn Garden Carpaccio, Herb Cress Dressed with White Balsamic & Truffle Salt.

2nd course: Double Boiled Chicken Essence Infused With Lemon Grass, Scallop Dumpling

3rd course: Deep Fried Sea Bass Fillet with Garden Greens and Thai Chilli Sauce

4th course: Braised Chinese Flower Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetables

and LASTLY it’s dessert buffet! and EVERYTHING looked super duber good.

despite the tight deadlines of my assignments, i am still spending more time on my ds. maybe i always enjoy being detective, or like to look for clues/ missing items.. haha. tell you, i have this new game which i dl.. "Hidden Objects" -- yah from the title you know it's all about find find FIND. and not only that, it has many other mini games in between.. and many many stages. so at least the game doesn't really end so fast.

Extreme Boredom

Each day is a mindless haze. I am bored to the point of sitting for hours, staring at empty spaces, trying to pull meaning out of the nothingness. Of course, how can something come of nothing? It can't.

I want to numb my mind, but not with boredom like it is being currently. Even if I am outside with my friends sometimes, somehow I feel almost disconnected, like somewhere along the way the link between us was severed and we are all strangers gathering under the same roof.

Excuse me for being melodramatic, but I don't really have much else to do.

went for this show ytd night..
It's a perfect show for all pet lovers!
and the main lead dog (friday) is actually a white jack rusell terrier.
it really does look like schaunzer with those cropped ears.
oh anyway schaunzer IS a terrier breed too.
i so love the show...
the dogs are all so cute
especially one scene when they were trying those "stimulators"
bwahahaha.
i love dogs. really do.
and movies associated with dogs always make me fall in love with them.

teebee went for her grooming
had asked the groomer to give her a puppy cut
but was advised that just trim abit of fur around her legs first
then when she grows bigger will trim more
so teebee was left there for their care
while i went hm to fb..
after an hr or so
Buzzy Paws called me to collect teebee
and when i saw her..
she looks so cute than any other dog!!
esp with that red rose ribbon on top!

it's another friday
but i dun look so forward to it as much as before alr
cos my sat is burnt now
esp this coming sat.
cos my dental appt was pushed forward
to 12 noon...
then im meeting up my classmate for some assignment discussion
and my lesson at 3.30pm..
this means i no longer can hang out late on fri nite...

as usual fri will be heading to holland for lunch with usual khakis
i had rayne with me to pet lovers centre at holland v
i need to get teebee a harnest (not sure if its spelled correctly)
of cos when we got there we had to look at those doggies!
and i managed to sneak-snap this shot when the person is not watching.

the weather kind of woke me up

yeah. i din stay over at chalet last night

when i rch there was like 11+

my fren already putting her children to sleep

i was left at the bbq pit with some others

not much food left

i was VERY hungry lor =x

ended up eating many stingray

(that's the only food left)

wanted to stay over

cos din wanna spend that extra $$ on cab fare

but one of my fren send us back

so i followed

they all stay around my neighbourhood

afterall i dun wanna squeeze with the kids

and i still prefer my bed :)

my fren's son - he's super cute lor!

usually the only time im home is sunday.

but today exception.

haha - i took a day leave

wanted to sleep more, but din eventually

ate sandwiches for breakfast

fed teebee some treats

yah.. it's boring what i do at home

worst still my homework

FINALLY.

I had my first econs lesson. haha the lecturer ok lahs.. not tt bad
though a bit lor soh but will forgive himt his once
since i know its probably "1st" lesson
they tend to do alot of self-intro etc..
but still lesson started off at around 7.30pm
wow come to think of it
the last time i attended lesson in class was 2006
thats 3 yrs from now!
and i hope my memory isn't failing.. haa..

I haven talk to any of my classmates yet
Maybe not on the very 1st lesson
I may be rather shy - when it comes to ppl i duno at all

woah.. how often do you receive calls from unknowns?
asking you to go for certain FREE programmes?
trial photoshoots? talks?
yeah i got last friday.
it was an unfamiliar missed call 6463xxxx
i thot school called and so did return the call..
ended up was some ppl telling me i was "recommended" by a friend
to go and do a FREE TRIAL photoshoot.
and my 1st question to the caller was
"Do i need to pay anything?"
since the answer was no. since i got nuthing better to do on sat.
since im so free. since its FREE.
why not? for the fun of it?

of cos i guess more or less
they might probably "cyco" me to sign whatever package.
i am so sick of this kinda thing.
maybe in the past, for a person like me whu does not know how to reject
high chances i may be coaxed and agree on signing up
but NEVER after i got cheated by the stupid company

I have just picked up a new hobby from Adrian. wahahha. a cheap hobby - NO cost involved. DIY. Papertoys. I always see lotsa paper toys around his desk when i go over to chit chat with Steven and the rest.. untill one day i challenged him "Hey go do one hello kitty for me leh, go find leh.." and the next thing was he passed me one A4 printed paper and asked me to do. BUT!!!! i never even do before lor, so i tried asking him to do for me once first.. then i will learn from there. (actually i never thought it was so interesting..) and this is what he made ....

- super squarish hello kitty. in fact most of those papertoys look squarish.. maybe it's easier to do... hmmmm

BACK FROM GENTING!

wow it's damn cold there man.. though a shirt weekend trip but fulfilling =) hmm spent abt SGD$150 (still got ringgit left over abt 100+) on theme park rides! casino.. food and i bought a MANGO top at only RM 19!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha cheap eh? it's from their so-called "factory outlet". yuppp. actually it's just a simply black top, guess cos its so freaking cheap tts y i had to buy. hee.. yah i just want to convince myself that "MANGO leh. only RM 19, why not?"

we reach genting aroung 3+ am and got nuthing to do becos our rooms are not ready, we head for Marie Brown's breakfast :) i lurve the porridge thr.. maybe cus i missed the kfc's porridge last time. haiz duno why they stopped selling that despite it was so delicious man..

i have been real busy. checking out on school stuff... working.. outings. euww~ just too much. now that i am finally able to BREATHE a little.. haha seems like if i wanna catch up on whats going on for the past week i also couldn't possibly remember.

Alright. maybe i should move on from here, rather than thinking hard on what have i been doing for the past week. See, that's the problem when you dun blog often =S

I am counting doon to friday! going for a short genting trip with my colleagues. and yah.. i think it's kinda gonna be the MOST BUDGET TRIP ever. cos the coach + hotel = SGD$107 per pax. and i will only be bringing SGD $50 to change (i do have abt 100 ringgit with me still..) haha terrible right? wanna go holiday also must so budget. But i thought it will just be a good and short break for me. Rayne's purpose is only to gamble there =D and i had also plan my itenary already -

Nothing much to really blog abt these few days, or rather i was quite lazy. hve been a little bz with work. and OH YAH! i have just enrol myself in MDIS for my advanced dip in biz mgmt :)
Actually the initial plan was to take my 3 yr degree thr.. but when i went down to the unicampus at queenstown, they told me that lessons will be at dhoby ghaut campus - which is like FAR lor. (hmmm not really far but further, compared to the queenstown one of cos.) was a lil upset at first, untill the consultant provide me another alternative - that is to take my advanced dip first (a 1 yr course, 2x a week) as this will be at the queenstown campus.. and if i can cope, i can even opt for the 8mths duration where i have to study 3x a week, 7-10pm and maybe sometimes on saturdays. Then well, when i completed that, to direct entry to my 2nd yr degree for the 2010 Apr intake.

sounds fantastic isn't it?

both will be at queenstown and at least i mean, there is a so-called "break" in between, cos i wud most probably finish my course in dec this yr. can rest for like 3 mths then start again. though all in all, the sch fees might be a lil more expensive but i guess i have to do it this way. ANYWAYS.. i have enrol liao.. and waiting for my acceptance letter within a week. so this advanced dip will cost me $4200 (minus a $350 progressive rebate: i used to be a student there so i can get some kinda disc) upon confirmation of acceptance, i need to pay $2675 =( and 4 mths after sch starts, another remaining $1444.50. need to really work hard and earn more, less spendings.. which also means LESS DRINKING!!!!!!

hopefully all goes well then next yr i can direct entry to my 2nd yr degree @ $19000 (minus progressive rebate $1500!) and yah yah.. by the time i get my degree.. i will be 29 yrs old. OMG! im turning 30 so fast!!!!!!

** oOps if i missed out.. im taking the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Marketing, University of Bradford.. any comments on this Uni.. can tagggg me !! appreciate!!!!!

ytd went to FIGO at jur west with my male colleagues to play soccer. haha of cus i am not playing but i just went there to be extra lor. hehe. anyways, we are having dinner together and i also need to eat, since steven's driving, i might as well follow suit =)
most of the usual ones were there except for mr nick wu who got classes to attend. haha but nevertheless, no nick wu, we have nick TOH. hehehe. he used to be working in starhub but left already. initially i thot i will be bored so i brought my ds lite along so i can play my "phoenix wright ace attonery" haha its a lawyer game tt my fren recommend me.. cus he knew my dream was to be a lawyer BUT unfortunately i can't so... since in real life i can't i shall do it in the game! and really THANKS! to pingping for all the websites for free downloads of ds games and themes as well! at lest now im facing my hello kitty theme so nt tt bored alr, and peeps.. im really addicted to ds! can't stop playing at all.. even my mum ask me not to play until "zou huo ru mo" ... hahah funny lor..

ermm anyway back to the topic.. yah talking abt the soccer. i was kind of enjoying myself watching them play.. quite interesting actually. and the place was great - except for alot mosquitoes.. haha. drinks provided too =) ehh 100plus okies..

teebee's skin problem is getting worst each day. my heart really aches when i see her so restless and not active anymore. she has been scratching all over all the time... and it just so happen that everyone in the family has fallen sick. Mom, ben and I are down wth rashes. Kenny having fever for weeks already. and now teebee is sick. it has been confirmed after the visit to animal clinic...

i had to bring teebee to the vet because she is really suffering in pain. she is no longer the jumpy puppy that bites onto rags and plastic bags and run all around the house. she seems so weak... too weak to even move. i know my choice was right to bring her to the vet. and true enough.. teebee has got SCABY MITES all over her body (this could be spread to bed linen if she had slept on mine befoore - tts y i am infected with itchy rash too)

POOR TEEBEE. because we need to apply lotion over her body and to prevent her from scratching or biting herself, she has to put on that collar. mum says she looks like dong from wonderspace. tsk tsk.

she definitely needs medication and teebee, i promise i will make you well again.

BAD start of 2009 cny DAY 1

Everyone is having those cny mood. preparing for house visitings, pokers, mahjongs.. or even catching up with old frens for movies or so. and i guess im probably the ONLY ONE who is not enjoying.

I AM ITCHING ALL OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dunno why. it started few days back but i thot there's nothing to worry cus those arsh looks just like mosquito bites. and i simply ignore. till reunion dinner that nite, i realise the "mosquito bites" kinda getting more n more. and they itch so much that once u start scratching, u can't stop. NAH, dun tell me i am allergic to seafood.. bla bla.. i been eating seafood since young and NO SUCH problem. at one time i was thinking, could it be teebee? my miniature schnaunzer that has skin problems and flakes all over her body? esp when she loves going to my bed and slp, and ended up thr's like flakes all ard my bed..

to seek help (thr's no doctor available at the moment), i looked up the net but am 99.99% sure that its nothing to do with my pup.. as true enough though schnaunzers tend to have skin problems, these are normal and wud nv result in spreading to human beings.

so then. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?

i know its not gonna be cheap if i were to consult a doctor on cny day 1 and i really do not wish to. i tried my best not to scratch those red spots as much as possible. but eveything is really within my control. my rashes got even worst in the evening time when i m gng to my auntie hse. HOLY SHIT. i really nid a doctor badly, even if it were to cost me a bomb.. i have to go.. to seek medication.. to stop these irritating rash on me..... upon rching my auntie hse, my cousin passed me some "yoko" from china and asked me to apply on my arms as they looked bad. she say its very "good" cus she also used to have skin problem n that is what she applys that heals - pr shall i say, stop the itch? she kinda discouraged me to see a doc as she says bo hua.. very expensive.. if can, tong until cny day3... doctors are cheaper then. i took her words, cus anyway afetr i applied the ceam, it really seems better.. and less itchy.

i thot that cud save me a day, but it didn't. went for movies at suntec and the rashes came back. it was really uncomforatble in the theatre and i never had enjoy the show at all, though its a comedy, i did not laugh. at that point of time the only word to describe me: IRRITATED.

no choice after the movie, i went to a 24 hr clinic at clementi and got pissed off by the world's LOUSIEST and F*CKED UP doctor i ever met!

i tell you. i was hoping mad after i came out from the blood sucking clinic and with his blardy stupid and useless consultation, it sure does nto worth $85. plus those 2 packets of tablets (to stop itch and inflammation) and pathetic cream.

WHY AM I PAYING $111.20 FOR SUCH LOUSY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!

last week was the clearing of my clothes and bags. arghh i have tons of them and if i keep getting new ones without clearing the old ones, there will never be enough space for me to store even if i were to have another few more wardrobes. so time to get rid GET RID!! hmmm but some i kinda "she bu de" to throw or give away ley..

last night i cleared my old school textbooks/ storybooks/ notes and all my soft toys.

everyone should be thinking abt what color to dye for their hair, or what styles to cut. to cut or grow the hair, to rebond or perm. this year - i ain't gng to do anything abt it! but but.. i will color my hair BLACK :: to match my new ds mah! wahahaha.. no la.. cus i still feel that black hair makes me "younger" despite the fact that i am gng 26 this year.. n it definitely looks healthier. As for the length, i am not going to cut anymore.. cus i always get cheated by my hairstylist in the end. always tell him "trim hor, dun cut the length okie?" end up always DO. so... i am not gng to touch my hair this year.. see how long it can grow.. heh heh.

cutting my own fringe to me is a RISK. either i spoil it, or it turns out ugly. i remembered cutting fringe at dwnstair hair salon for only $2? yah and i went downstair my hse, ended up paying $20!!!!!!! so mad!!!! know why? cus i asked the lady to "kiap" straight my hair for me (i was having a nap earlier, so when i woke my hair was like curl here n there, and i thot since im gng dwn to cut my fringe.. might as well the person "shun bian" "kiap" for me ...) i was so angry lor... the stupid china woman said to me: " oOh now cny period.. price increase.. cutting fringe is no longer $2, it's $4 (OK. i have $4!) and "kiap" your hair $16 nor."

yippeee!! i have finally sold my wii! to some "father" (he's buying for his children...sooOooo sweet lor) from hardware zone. he called and asked if i cud further discount to S$400 (initiallly i am selling for S$450).. i did hesitate for a while, cos the original price of the set was actually $519 as quoted by The Challenger Store. but i have been to hardwarezone forums and found that many ppl are selling wiii too.. all sorts of version lahs, new and used also have.. ayo. somany competitors, i think i better lower my price if that person is definitely buying frm me.. simply becos also i dun wanan drag further.. if not who knows man, new version MIGHT be coming out. or wii MIGHT be outdated alr.. they can come out with Nintendo gameboy.. then ds.. now wii.. dunno what's next lor.. so faster get rid of it better ba. Yup.. so i agreed to S$400 =) and straight after i got teh $400 cash, i stroll in to the pet shop.. to get something for teebee..

i missed chinatown chang cheng porridge, so went ahead on sun to satisfy my cravings. adn i think chinatown has the lightings alr, so it was damn packed with aunties and uncles, families and even young adults like me. wanted to go hm straight after my dinner, but on second thoughts, since im alr there - might as well - shop lor. ( i dun really hv the habit of cny shopping.. )

so after abt 2 hrs of roaming on around the streets of chinatown, im kinda bored and took the bus hm. oh YA. there is this cool ACCENT function in my phone. it captures only the desired color (red/blue/green).. i snapped this in the bus when it stopped at the traffic junction and i thot it looks cool =D

1. have a stable career (at least a perm job)

3. grow my hair long without trimming

Dec is a bz month for me.. yr end - work starts to get hectic.. christmas: everyone's bz shopping for gifts and malls are all CROWDED and packed! grrr hate that.. the thought of squeezing with kiasu singaporeans in malls just turns me off -.- ''' ( yah.. and what's more "over" when u see idiotic ppl standing in the middle of a traffic junction JUST TO SNAP A PIC ) if u dun believe me, make a trip down to orchard road... you'll be surprised....

hmmm i dun really have much chrismassy mood this year. except for xmas @t work - its kinda fun cos we have this lil christmas party and i m one of the committe =) meaning we organise and we DO NOT need to participate in the agmes, therefore we WILL NEVER be forfeited (wahHAHAHAaa) the part i am so looking forward to and like best of cos is the LUCKY DRAW!!!!!! prizes may not be as fantastic as what they have got last yr (this is what my colleagues feedback) but at the very least, we all know we will have prizes (maybe some shopping vouchers etc..??) !!! and the party's like just ... 1 more day from today?

phew. let me end it short and sweet here first, gng for my team's christmas lunch at Il Lido later at sentosa. i haven been there before but heard its Italian food (and i DUN like weatern food really) so........

It’s FRIDAY!! The weekend I am so looking forward to again :) erm not that I hate my work.. but I just wanna have some proper rest to rejuvenate my energy so that I am ready for the next week again. And as its coming to the end of this week.. some things to be happy abt .. while some upset issues too…

• frederic coming back next week! (Yay.. my so called sup coming back next week after his 2 weeks exam leave and finally at least I do have doubts on work, I can turn to him…)
• I shd be receiving my order of clothes by Monday since it will be 9days from then they received my pymt.
• >>>> if order arrives, I can start wearing my new clothes to work as well as wearing them out =D
• PAY DAY’s on MONDAY!!!! (though its prorated.. better than nuthing.. afterall i haven been getting any “pay” since June 08 …..)

Goodbye to my SE G900. SE has courier a new set (all sealed) for me today to my office. 4th time my phone having problems.. 4 times within 4 mths is crazy. Really over man.. the last time round they changed only the main board of the fone for me, I believed, thus this time they promised to gimme a brand new set. Seriously I have lost ALL hopes on this blardy fone of mine from Sony Ericsson.. so I am not hesitating to sell it off! According to my fren, K, I still can sell it for $360.. I shd not grumble any more.. really… SO I am making my trip down to Toa Payoh central later and I am NOT trusting Sony Ericsson’s phones anymore!

My fringe is getting long n real out of hand.. needs to trim again..dun get it, why does the fringe grow so fast yet the back of my hair is as if not growing.. I need the length to be long long.. not the fringe…zzZZzz……

oh my god. i thot i haven been shopping these days i should be able to save some money. thats totally not true!!! cus jes always tell me abt her 'online shopping good deals' . i couldn't resist.. i asked for the website.. have a peep.. and there goes me! they look NICE and CHEAP. *temptations* and that becomes my everyday-to-do list. LOL. i started browsing online shoping sites.. checking out great deals.. nice stuff.. from tops to dresses.. and even bags! OH ya, 4 days ago, i just placed an order of 11pcs of tops from this website www.rk-fashion.com. it only cost me like SGD$157? including courier service to my doorstep and the beautiful clothes will rch me with a week. I just can't wait for them to come!
